All rulings of the board members present
will be final.

Entrants must be a C-U Bass Club member.

Entrants can not fish with a non-member
in a tournament.

Artificial baits only (pork baits
acceptable).

Only one line per entrant in the water
at a time.

6. No trolling allowed.

Only Largemouth, Smallmouth or Spotted
(Kentucky) Bass, meeting lake minimum or
larger, may be entered at the weigh-in.
-
No drunkenness, disorderly conduct or
profane language in public areas or
weigh-ins.
-
Fishing in an area posted or restricted
by the lake authority, or an area
designated off-limits by the board, will
result in disqualification for that day.

Individual creels must be kept and each
fish entered must have been caught by
the entering contestant. Each contestant
must enter their fish in a separate bag
at weigh-in.
-
Five (5) fish limit and lake length will
apply unless told differently by the
board.
-
No fishing within fifty (50) yards of
another C-U Club boat that is anchored
or tied off.
-
The Board members (or appointed members)
will handle the weigh-in and record the
weights. All healthy bass must be
returned to the lake.
-
All contestants must wear a life vest
when the outboard is running and the
kill switch must be attached to the
driver’s body.
-
All boats must meet USCG specifications
and all boat systems (livewells,
trolling motor, etc.)Should be
operational and in good working order
and not cause a safety concern.

All contestants should check in at the
designated starting point thirty (30)
minutes prior to the designated take-off
to receive take-off order and to be
advised of any pertinent information
involving the tournament (early/late
starts, off limits, livewell checks,
etc.) Failure to be at the designated
place or time could result in a
disqualification.

Each boat will be assigned a starting
position and must idle in single file
past the board member starting the
tournament regardless of fishing area.
An Exception may be made when trailering
is warranted to a ramp on the same body
of water as long as it is approved by
the Board prior to take-off. The starter
will provide information to the
participants during the take off
process. In all cases, the participant
is responsible for knowing the
requirements associated with that
tournament.

Boat partners will exchange seats midway
through the tournament day unless both
agree to other arrangements.
-
Any member not in attendance when the
tournament sign-up is scheduled, must
contact a board member to sign them up
and submit their fees. All fees are
non-refundable! Anyone signing up after
the meeting begins will do so as a
non-boater.
-
No racing during tournament hours.
-
Boaters and non-boaters will share
equally in fuel expenses in getting the
boat to the lake, boat gas and any other
fees.
-
All contestants must check in at the end
of the tournament day at the designated
place and time. If late, one pound per
minute up to ten (10) minutes late will
be deducted from the weight of the fish
caught that day. Any participant over
ten (10) minutes late will be
disqualified for that day. Any
contestant choosing to leave early
during a tournament day must notify a
board member, verbally or in writing.
Failure to notify a board member will
result in loss of tournament points.

If two boaters are partnered together
and one chooses to fish in the other’s
boat, that request cannot be refused.
Anyone refusing their partner to fish
will be disqualified.

Weigh-in will start twenty (20) minutes
after the scheduled end of the
tournament at the designated place.
Board members and their partners will
weigh in first.
Fish shall be brought to the scales in a
club bag with a working aerator. Fish
must be returned to the bag with aerator
after being weighed, to be taken to a
designated area for pictures. Fish must
then be returned to the bag with aerator
before being returned to the lake.

All boat owners must have a copy of
their boat insurance on file with the
Board prior to their using the boat in a
club tournament.

Lights must be on if the start of the
tournament is before official sunrise.

POINT SCORING SYSTEM:
A. Tournament participants will be
ranked by the pounds and ounces of fish
caught. Participants will receive one
point for each ounce of fish caught,
with all participants receiving ten (10)
points for fishing the tournament. If a
tie exists, they share the same points
but the standing for the next
participant is reduced by the number of
participants in the tie.
B. Ten (10) points for a Pick-A-Pard and
five (5) points for each Club meeting
attended.
C. Four (4) ounces will be deducted at
the scale for each dead fish entered.

If a tournament is canceled everyone who
signed up will receive ten (10) points.
A participant may receive their money
back and forfeit their points.

When two boaters are paired together on
a two-tournament weekend, the boaters
will inform the Board of their plans
(fishing together or each taking their
own boat) so that starting positions and
additional non-boater pairings can be
made for the second day of the
tournament.

Each member must have a signed release
and waiver of liability agreement on
file with the Board prior to engaging in
any Club activity.

In the event a boat breaks down, doesn’t
show up, etc., the stranded participants
will be placed in the next available
boat that is without a partner using the
pairing sheet from that tournament day.
This will be done by the tournament
director or other board member.
